Its been several years since I brought my car here for a simple routine service, and they proceeded to attempt to upcharge me nearly 5k for entirely unrelated repair, which i did not need. They told me my vehicle was undriveable if I didn't get that costly repair immediately. Fortunately I am not stupid even though I am younger, female, petite- so I didn't take them at their word. Since then I've had my vehicle checked for this specific problem 3 or 4 times, by several different mechanics, all of which confirmed this repair was not necissary and essentially my car is fine, the problem they said I needed fixed asap or my car was done for has never been found as a problem elsewhere. I've driven a ton over those years, including across the country. My car is fine. I waited to write this review until I had enough years of data to say with full confidence that they either dont know what they are doing or they were trying to rip me of. Either way, go here at your own risk especially if your female and if they recommend a costly repair out if nowhere, get a second opinion.
We see one record for your Subaru 4 years ago noting a common issue with them leaking externally from Head gaskets. We advised doing a General inspection before investing in this costly repair. We are sorry you feel taken advantaged of. We have many customers who trust us for service on their cars.
