I've been bringing my cars to Moss Alley for 15+ years. They've stood by me through 13 years of my Subaru Legacy, helped coach my kids as new owners of vehicles, and continue to be my first choice for competitive quality service, convenience, and great customer care.

I've taken my elderly car in for two rounds of major maintenance at Moss Alley. They are friendly and easy to deal with - for example, they make a clear distinction between repairs that are strongly recommended vs those that are optional. They may not be the absolute cheapest mechanic around, but their prices are completely reasonable given that they are located in the middle of Seattle in an area with very high overhead costs for businesses.

As usual, listened to my concerns, reported with clarity and steps for long term operation and safety. Friendly, communicative, prices reasonable for service provided.

Moss Alley is the best! The customer service is amazing. They never sell you any service your car doesn't really need. They will let you know when it's definitely time to have a repair or service completed. I love that they look after my wallet and my car in this way.

Trustworthy, friendly, responsive, reasonable, and incredibly accommodating. These guys are my default and only mechanic for everything from oil changes and winter tires to more troublesome issues with my beat up old truck. So lucky to have them in the neighborhood. Support small businesses, particularly ones that go out of their way to offer a kick-ass end to end experience. ❤️

Moss Alley has taken great care of us over the years between two old Subarus (a 1987 and a 2002). They frequently advise me when I can wait to get something done vs. what I need to do now. Extremely trust worthy, super friendly staff. I don't see us ever switching mechanics while we live in Seattle!
