I went here to have the horn of my car fixed and wheels inspected for leaks since I have had to fill my tires every ~2 weeks. They did a good job fixing my horn (though it seemed expensive). They weren't able to find anything wrong with my tires. I drove the car for about 2 hours the next day. It was shaking quite hard but I was in a rush. When I investigated the wheel, the lug nuts were so loose I could have unscrewed them with my hand. This is quite dangerous that they left the car in this state. They did fix the lug nuts when I brought it back to the shop though.

I found that I had two screws that made my tire flat. They have been my mechanic of choice for many years. They let me bring my car in on the spot and fixed the problem. I appreciated their responsiveness.

There was a lot of work to be done on my Audi. Moss Alley folks were very communicative regarding price and when it would be completed. And now that I have it, my car is running better than it has in a long time!

Not only is the customer service great (I've never gone in and not been greeted with a smile or a fun catch up chat) but I also know that I am getting work done in an affordable manner, and not having unnecessary work done just for the heck of it. As a woman, this is really vital. So often going to a mechanic can feel intimidating or there is the assumption that just because you're a woman you don't know anything and therefore can be easily swindled. That is not the case at Moss Alley; I always feel well informed, respected, and confident coming here. Seeing women representation in auto work/mechanics is a big thing and I love knowing that I am coming to a place that values that! If you're in the Cap Hill/Central District area, I highly recommend Moss Alley!
